1. Superman - Five for Fighting :
Back when I was 11 or 12 I used to be crazy about Teen Titans the tv show. I used to watch the episodes on Youtube because my parents blocked cartoonetwork on the tv. One day while I was searching for tv episodes I came across a music video with Teen Titan episodes edited to it. It was the first Teen Titans music video that I had saw like that. The song that went with it was haha you guessed it Superman. I really liked the idea so I started making music videos myself. Got pretty popular on youtube in that community :P but I haven't made those videos in a good while. It's a great song though.
2. The Hamster Song
Yes. That dastardly annoying song that EVERYONE hates. I didn't even listen to it when I linked it. I was too scared that it would get stuck in my head. I remember on a saturday afternoon when my brother and I were still kids....we were waiting for sundown to come. We'd dance around the living room in our pj's blasting the Hamster dance.... going crazy like someone injected sugar into our veins. I'll never forget that :]
3. 1000 miles -Vanessa Carlton
This song was WILDLY popular for the longest time. It got pretty annoying haha. I remember when I was still living in Boston my dad would come home and complain about how many times he listened to it in the hospital that day. The hospital would put on the radio so that was what played. My childhood friend also really liked this song too so we'd go over to their house and they'd be blasting it. Reminds me of innocent times. A lot of people used this for teen titan music videos too :]
4. You and Me - Lifehouse
This has got to be my favorite song. I probably heard it when I was little but when I was probably 14 I remember sitting in my room just singing "and it's You and Me and all of the people" and I didn't know WHAT that song was. I don't even think I remembered hearing it at that time. So i youtube'd it and found that song.
5. 100 Years - Five for Fighting
My parent's are big fans of any music with drums in the background. Idk it's just something for taste for them I guess :P but my brother burned this on a cd and brought it as road trip music when we went to washington. He was 15 at that time...but this makes me think of washington. :]
6. Song of Hope - Robbie Seay Band
Russia. Just that word brings back so many memories.
Carly: I love this song!
Me: what song?
Carly: You've never heard it before?
Me: nope
haha I love this song still. This reminds me of Carly sleeping on my shoulder during the long bus rides in Russia that I couldn't sleep during. I remember the lush evergreen forest (which weren't really "america") that we'd spend countless hours (14 was the longest!) driving past. Or maybe looking out the window at 12 am when we were STILL stuck in traffic in the middle of Red Square. haha there was a drunk girl in the middle of a rave that night. So many more memories... Alfa Alfa... :] ( <-- no one's going to get that reference).
7. Count on Me - Bruno Mars
CHARLIE'S ASIANS THEME SONG!!! My brother was mentioning the other day how there weren't many friendship songs anymore. This song means a lot to me....just because of the people it reminds me of. Wheatstone was a blast. It wasn't egregious at all. If it was egregious I probably wouldn't mention this at all. I remember staying up in Brittany and Rachel's room till like 2 am talking....about fun stuff that made us not egregious. :] I remember Shakespeare when the othello said egregious and we got all excited. Or all the lunch jokes that we made about egregious or non-egregious topics... ok i can't think of anymore ways to say egregious. so egregious egregious egregious egregious THERE!.............egregious :] That's for you brittany :]
